Lā HOʻIHOʻI EA Waiʻanae
Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea is the sacred celebration of our resilience, marking the historic day in 1843 when the Hawaiian flag was rightfully raised again after illegal British occupation. It honors the profound truth that our ea—our sovereignty, breath, and independence—flows directly from our connection to ʻāina. It is a living practice of ourself-determination, and our collective commitment to protect the future of our people.
